CMS Mechanical Services were awarded following tender the opportunity to provide mechanical services to a large purpose built food court located on the outskirts of London.

Ensuring the project met strict building control standards and provided a comfortable environment for customers and members of staff, the installation included the supply of a large gas fired warm air heater, located on the roof top plant deck.

As such, due to the weight and size of the equipment the appliance required being craned onto the roof before being carefully installed and commissioned by our qualified team.

Large ducts were installed from the roof plant deck area, down the internal riser and across the vast open food court area, to ensure the system discharges air (via large grille diffusers) to all areas within the premises.

Extract and supply ventilation was adequately sized and installed within the food court and amenity areas to ensure stale, stagnant air and food odours were removed whilst bringing in fresh natural air from external, providing a comfortable environment for customers and staff in the vicinity.

Overall, the project was successfully completed and commissioned on schedule in time for opening.
